Web, Power and Light Direction G · Cold Bento
Four cool variations

Four bento takes,
one cool palette.

Same bento layout discipline, same Inter type, same rounded corners — now in a cool register. Slate field, deep navy ink, tiles in blue / teal / mint / cyan / sea-green. No gradients. No purple. Pairs as the cold counterpart to the Warm Bento page so you can compare temperatures directly.

V1 Arctic

A 4×3 grid with a 2×2 deep-slate hero. Flat pale pastels — ice blue, light teal, pale mint, pale cyan, light slate. The cold analog of warm-bento V1. Airy, low-stakes, lets the bento geometry breathe.

Layout: 4×3, hero 2×2 Shadow: flat Colors: 5-hue pale pastels Hero: deep slate

V2 Pacific

Same 4×3 grid, but tiles are saturated cool jewels — teal, sea green, cyan, steel — with cream text. Hero gets a real depth shadow so you can compare flat-vs-lift cleanly. Question: does the cold palette want this much saturation, or is V1's pastel restraint better?

Layout: 4×3, hero 2×2 Shadow: hero only (visible depth) Colors: saturated cool jewels Hero: slate-blue + lift

V3 Cold Dense

A 5-column grid holding 12 tiles. Hairline borders, no shadow, very low-saturation cool pastels (pale ice, mint, teal, slate, foam). The cold mirror of warm-bento V3. Tests whether bento can hold many features at once in a quiet cool register.

Layout: 5-col, 12 tiles Shadow: hairline only Colors: pale 5-hue cool Hero: deep slate

V4 Slate Mono

Same 4×3 grid, but everything is slate — five tones from light #F1F5F9 to deep #1E293B. The cold parallel to warm-bento V4's sage mono test. Question: does single-hue discipline work better in cool slate than it did in warm sage?

Layout: 4×3, hero 2×2 deep slate Shadow: flat Colors: slate mono, 5 tones
